Ben DJ'd for our wedding this summer and we couldn't recommend him enough. He was there for the full day so we didn't need to worry about someone monitoring ceremony or reception drinks music. Then in the evening he was great at reading the room and adapting the music to the people dancing. Multiple guests have said how great he was, thank you Ben!

Ben was amazing. From when we first contacted SoundsPlenty they were responsive, efficient and listened to the type of event we were plan ing..our wedding with a real mix of ages from 2 to 85.
And they all got up and danced the night away! Ben set up very unobtrusively and set the mood straight away. Before long it was clear we were in safe hands. Several guests commented too on how good he was

I reached out to Ben back in June this year as we needed a DJ for our school leavers event.

He was more than happy to help and played a great set for us to finish off the evening. I organised the setup and arrangements through Ben direct and he was really helpful and made sure he knew what sort of music we were looking for.

Great DJ and would highly recommend to anyone.

We hired Ben to be our wedding DJ, and we could not have found a better person for the job!

From an initial conversation at a wedding fair, email exchanges and a face to face consultation in the lead up to the big day, Ben acted with complete professionalism. Ben also visited our wedding venue to survey how to optimise, sound and lighting and to meet our wedding planner to ensure everything went smoothly on the day.

He’s got a great rig of kit, so he has all the tools for the job when it comes to getting everyone on the dance floor.

Above all else his enthusiasm and passion for music was always at the fore. He listened to us pitch exactly what we wanted, and delivered it excellently. He made some great suggestions during our consultation too which really enhanced the experience.

Highly knowledgeable with sound engineering and lighting, super friendly and all round top man. Highly recommend!

Ben played at our wedding and he was incredibly professional from the first time we met. He was very approachable and easy to communicate with throughout and met up before the wedding to check final details. On the night he was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Ben for any occasion and will definitely use him again.

We honestly could not have asked for a better DJ for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday. From the moment Ben arrived, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely kind — the sort of person who instantly puts you at ease and makes you feel confident you’ve made the right choice.
He was so thoughtful about the setup, taking real care to make the most of the space and tailoring his lighting perfectly to the room, which completely transformed the atmosphere. The music was absolutely spot on all night — every song landed, the dance floor stayed full, and the energy never dipped.
One of the highlights for me was how he went out of his way to include my daughter by playing her requested movie song, then somehow seamlessly blended it straight into old-school dance tracks without missing a beat. It was such a special moment and showed his talent, flexibility, and genuine care for making everyone feel included.
He played a huge part in making the night unforgettable, and so many guests commented on how amazing the music and vibe were. If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, accommodating, and truly invested in making your event incredible, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Ben was our DJ for our wedding 2 weeks ago.
He provided our music throughout our day and evening.
He went above and beyond. He mixed our first dance mashup from a few tracks we wanted and it was ace.

Ben taught me how to DJ and after 3 lessons I was able to do a hour long set at my birthday party! He is an amazing teacher and very skilled at what he does, also just a pleasure to be around - Thank you Sounds Plenty!
